Yellowstone Big Band
The 18-piece Yellowstone Big Band has played to enthusiastic audience for 25 years under the direction
of Northwest College Director of Bands Neil Hansen.The musicians members
of this group have performed with reads like a who's who of jazz including:
Buddy Rich, Paul Anka, Maynard Ferguson, Woody Herman, Blood, Sweat & Tears, Les Brown, Tom Jones and many others. The Yellowstone Big
Band combines both traditional and contemporary big band sounds into
an enjoyable musical setting for jazz lovers of all ages. The band also includes nationally published composers for jazz ensembles.
