Yellowstone Jazz Camp

The 25th Annual Jazz Camp will be held in the mountains north of Cody. This camp attracts students from six states to the beautiful mountain camp each summer. The camp has limited enrollment and early registration is encouraged. The camp location is at 8,000 ft elevation in the beautiful Beartooth Mountains. For maps please click on the links to the left. The camp fee which includes tuition and room & board is $615 for the week.
The camp is for students entering high school thru adult.
Students participate in one of three big bands and one of six jazz combos. Other classes in improvisation and theory are also offered.
The Yellowstone Big Band is in residence at the camp. Made up of camp faculty and other fine jazz players from across the region. This ensemble presents two concerts at the camp and can be heard at the Yellowstone Jazz Festival in Cody on July 13 following the jazz camp student concert..

| Jazz Camp Allstate Scholarships If you or your student was selected for an allstate jazz band during the 2011/12 school year they are eligible to attend the jazz camp for only $370. Please note that only two students for each instrument are eligible for this scholarship. See the website for the current availability. (this amounts to a scholarship of $245) |

Camp refund Policy: If cancellation is received before June 1- all fees paid will be refunded except for a $15 processing fee If cancelled at least one week prior to camp, but after June 1 all fees will be refunded except for the $150 deposit If cancelled within the week before camp no refunds - if you find someone of the same instrument and gender to take your place all fees will be returned upon payment of camp fees by the replacment |
